Following on from the already sucessful road based Aprilia Pegaso Strada is the on/off road Aprilia Pegaso Trail. The longer, softer suspension should give a slightly more relaxed ride around town, particularly on the worst pot-holed roads, but it can also manage tracks and trails at the weekend.

Launched at the Paris Motorcycle Show today.

The most obvious difference is this the narrower dual purpose tyres and the wire wheels, but there's also been quite a few changes on the Aprilia Trial over the Strada:

- ground clearance is up 30mm,
- seat height is therefore also up 30mm to 810mm, with an optional 850mm seat,
- 30mm more wheel travel at the front and 40mm at the back,
- 20mm longer wheelbase,
- larger 19" front wheel,
- smaller 300mm front disc.

Price is expected to be about £4,999 OTR with availability over the next few weeks.
